Operating Costs and Factors to Consider

However, these gross revenues are affected by various operating costs, such as platform service fees, cleaning expenses, utilities, and property management fees. For example, Airbnb charges hosts in Colombia 3% on total revenue, excluding the cleaning fee. Additionally, it is estimated that utility costs amount to $220,000, cleaning expenses $48,000 per night, and the property management fee averages $250,000.
